Christian Education at Henry Memorial
The members of Henry Memorial Presbyterian Church consider Christian education a vital and important Ministry. You are invited to grow in faith and join in a program suitable for you.
Sunday School ~ In the education building behind the main building, we provide classes for Nursery through 12th grade which are staffed by trained dedicated teachers. Adult classes are offered for a range of ages and a variety of needs. They are held at various locations throughout the church campus. Sunday School classes are scheduled to begin at 10:00am each Sunday throughout the year.
Nursery ~ A well appointed, staffed nursery is provided for all scheduled church functions. It is open for childrenwho are too young for Sunday School classes and those who are six years old and younger during the worship service. The nursery is available for a wider range of age groups during other church functions.

Vacation Bible School ~ Each year in mid-summer, the church bursts forth with laughter and excitement as hearts and minds absorb the richness the gospel of Jesus Christ has to offer. There is a place for everyone as we all become students and teachers for each other.

Church Library ~ Children and adults will find resources for study and pleasure reading in the Henry Vogle Memorial Library loated in the main building. It houses approximately 1150 books. You are welcome to drop by and browse.
Small Groups Ministry ~ To fulfill the mission of the Church, we have several small group ministries for spiritual support, Bible study, and Christian growth. The groups, which meet at various times throughout the week, with some in the homes of our members, are designed to accomodate the interests and busy schedules of those who attend. If there is a particular need or area of study you would like to pursue, contact the pastor for assistance.
Confirmation Class ~ Classes are conducted once each year, or as required, for those who for the first time are considering making a profession of faith in Jesus Christ. The class is a study of the history of the Presbyterian Church, its beliefs and sacraments. The Confirmation Class offers the opportunity to examine personal relationships with Jesus Christ and to make a decision about your personal discipleship.
